This is one of our most recent remodeling projects, and it was truly special. We had the pleasure of working for one of the nicest couples in Oak Creek, who welcomed us warmly from day one. Their home, located at 218 S Grant, is more than just a house – it’s a piece of local history. Built over 100 years ago, it carried both character and challenges, and we were honored to bring it back to life with a fresh new look and solid protection for decades to come.

Before The Remodel
The original structure had old siding that was worn down by time and harsh Colorado weather. The roof also needed serious updates, as the metal panels were outdated and the underlying structure required reinforcement. While the house still carried its historic charm, it was in need of modernization, durability, and better protection against the elements.
The Process
Our team carefully planned and executed the project to ensure every detail was done right. Here’s what the remodel included:
Siding
-
Removed all existing siding.
-
Installed new plywood sheathing for stability.
-
Applied Tyvek house wrap for superior water and weather resistance.
-
Installed Diamond Kote Lap Siding, known for its durability, low maintenance, and long-lasting color.
Roofing
-
Complete tear-off of the existing metal roof.
-
Installed new rafters to strengthen the structure.
-
Extended soffits for better ventilation and protection.
-
Applied CDX Plywood for superior strength.
-
Installed Ice & Water Shield for waterproofing.
-
Finished with a Black Matte Standing Seam Metal Roof – sleek, modern, and built to last.
-
Added White Diamond Kote fascia for a clean finish.
-
Installed pine wood soffits with clear waterproof coat for a natural and elegant touch.

After The Remodel
The transformation speaks for itself. The house now features a modern, clean, and timeless look, while still preserving its historic character. The siding gives it a fresh new face, the roof ensures strength and durability against Colorado’s heavy snow and storms, and the details – from soffits to fascia – elevate the overall appearance.
The homeowners were thrilled with the results, and we couldn’t be more proud of the outcome.
